Coburn is in the process of creating a book in which he interviews people who have lived with their Spirit Paintings for a time. This book will be full color and feature amazing pictures of both the pieces and the people they represent.

Here is a small excerpt from the upcoming book. This is from an interview with Londin Winters about her painting "Ripple."

Question: What do you see in your Spirit Painting now that you have lived with it for a period of time? What does it “presence” or bring to the forefront for you now whenever you look at it?

Answer: "I came home one day, took one look at my spirit painting and cried. I literally cried. It was like the painting was my soul and after a really long and fumbling journey of self deception and self destruction, I had come back home to my soul."
